When we save a senior dog from the shelter, it is our responsibility and promise to the dogs that they will get the care they need and deserve to live the rest of their lives in comfort and love. When we pull a dog, they go straight to our amazing vet and get the works! This includes senior bloodwork, fecal, urinalysis, x-rays, remaining vaccines needed, usually a dental, spay/neuter and whatever else is discovered that they need. It usually costs at least $1500 plus. Some of the dogs end up needing to be on special food or monthly medications.

Pippa was saved within minutes of her being scheduled for euthanasia. We had to make a quick decision and hope that a foster could be found. Luckily a wonderful foster came forward for Pippa. Now we need to raise donations to cover her medical. She has several masses and will need a dental. We will post more info as we get it.
